Please welcome Mary Cloud B Ammons to the community. Mary Cloud is Assistant Research Professor in the Department of Chemistry and Biochemistry at Montana State University, USA. Mary is an NIH Common Fund recipient and her particular area of research is bacterial biofilms in the wound.

Joining Mary, from the npj Biofilms and Microbiomes Editorial Board we have 3 new Experts:

Philip S Stewart, also from Montana State University, US, is Professor of Chemical and Biological Engineering. His particular areas of interest are biofilm control with antimicrobial agents, transport phenomena in biofilms, biofilm modelling and biofilm detachment.

Lutgarde Raskin, who is Altarum/ERIM Russell O'Neal Professor of Engineering at the University of Michigan, USA. Professor Raskin works on a variety of biological water and wastewater treatment processes and in 2009 became a Fellow of the American Academy of Microbiology.

Finally, we have Professor Marvin Whitely who works out of The Whitely Lab at the University of Austin in Texas, USA, where the research team is currently we are utilising new technologies combined with classical genetic techniques to address questions about microbial physiology, ecology, virulence, and evolution.

To benefit from the knowledge and insight of our new Experts, follow them to be alerted to their latest posts and videos or ask them a question via the Q&A page.
