The Keystone Symposium on the microbiome in health and disease is underway right now.

I'm not there but I'm certainly following along on Twitter. You don't need an account to do this, simply go to the link here

Elisabeth Bik from uBiome and star of the npj Biofilms and Microbiomes Community is there and is doing a fantastic job of live tweeting the conference. There are a few other accounts that you should look out for as well:

Elisabeth Bik: @MicrobiomDigest

Nature Reviews Microbiology (with Editor Ashley York): @NatureRevMicro

Nature Reviews Gastroenterology & Hepatology: @NatRevGastroHep

It looks like a great program, if you don't believe me, here's a link:

If you're attending the conference, either live or via Twitter, please let us know your thoughts and impressions on the community.

Communications Officer, MAX IV Laboratory

I'm a Communications Officer at MAX IV Laboratory in Lund, Sweden, formally a Postdoc in the biofilm field. I'm interested in how bacteria cause disease and look to technology to produce novel tools to study and ultimately prevent infection. Part of my current role is to find ways to use synchrotron radiation to study microorganisms.
